No DVI on either monitors... At that resolution it's mandatory for good image quality, also no HDCP.
DVI's the white 1, VGA the blue, yeah?
does it really make such a big difference to picture quality?
You got it, DVI the white plug, VGA the blue.
Using VGA isn't so much of an issue on lower resolution monitors, but on 20"+ monitors it's easier to see the difference, especially on cheap ones. Even so, it's not a big problem. It's just if you're used to high quality pictures, using VGA can get a bit irritating sometimes.
the yuraku DOES have DVI (i have one in front of me )
Lol, disregard that, I -can't read-
Format and TAKTAK are right. First link, the ebuyer monitor has got DVI. My bad...

Although in your defence DDY it doesn't say it under "Connector" where it only lists "D-sub and audio in". Although it does say it further up the specification as its own line.
I didn't think d-sub could go that high on resolution I thought it capped out 1600x1200 / 1680x1050
Good price for 24" though - may think about moving up in size myself.
try dell, they usually have offers on, quick delivery, reliable. might not have the same contrast ratio as more expensive ones but 5ms and 1:1000 aint bad for under 200 quid (in the last sale was 195 ish for 24")
Noticed Scan had this http://www.scan.co.uk/product.aspx?ProductId=26860 on today only when I was looking this morning.. £163.33 with DVI and cheaper than both the ones you linked too? If I had the cash, would be tempted myself!
HTH
I put that in the bargins thread last week. I have one in work and its very good.
