Hi Guy's & Girls
I'm in the market for a new flat screen monitor. Which is the best one to go for within my budget.
A few must's
1. Must be Full HD
2. input's DVI / HDMI / component
3. memory card slots
thanks for your input.

Dell 2408
Another vote for the Dell 2408 as long as you go for the later version.
What is your budget?
Little point in asking for advice when 24" monitors can be had for between £150 to over £750!
have dell released the new 2709WFP which is equivlent the 2408WFP but bigger
Sorry for the off topic question but....
What's the differance between the new/old revisions please? I've 2x2408's, I assume older revisions as I got them not long after they were released!Another vote for the Dell 2408 as long as you go for the later version.
Newer models have less input lag apparently not sure if any other changes were made.
At the time which was just before Christmas you had more chance of winning the jackpot on the Euromillions than getting a new A01 rev 2408.
I gave up waiting on Dell and got a HP LP2475w and a Kingston card reader instead.
In your opinion.
Personally I have no problem working on a 24" 1920*1200 screen in fact the times I have used 30" 2560*1600 screens that has been fine as well.
It really is down to personal preference and in reality smaller pixels will generate sharper images than larger pixels they are therefore by definition better obviously the is a limit to how small you would want to go but 24" is no where near to small.
Anyway it really is a personal thing and when you buy a monitor you should attempt to use it first to make sure you are comfortable with the resolution if nothing else.
Can't really say as I haven't had enough time with an A01 2408, however it does walk all over the A00 once set up correctly.
Out of the current non pro top end 24" screens, I rate the HP and NEC 24WMGX3 (assuming you can get a good deal on the NEC) with the A00 2408 a distant third.
If you can afford to wait then the LED backlight screens should be around shortly.
