Hehe ... we're the exact opposites!! Just goes to prove you can't please most people most of the time

Richdog, the only one making personal insults on this thread is you. I may be argumentative at times but I dont resort to that.

Yeah and if I was bouncin I wouldn't find that personally offensive

Anyway argument over, the thread has already gone OT enough and i've said my piece. Hopefully the mods will delete the replies from the part where you start patronising bouncin and get the thread back on track.

Is that a lesson in quoting out of context since I said - Yes I know what he means but when somebody writes as if they have an IQ of 12 I can only assume they have an IQ of 12. Im sure he hasnt.....

Anyway Im sure bouncin can stick up for himself. I would find what your are doing very patronising indeed.

bouncin isn't online and as I know him from a couple of forums and consider him a mate then i'll defend him if he ain't around, there's nothing patronising about it. Anyway as I said, argument over, thread is OT enough, lets just leave it there as any further replies are pointless...

As i knew it would be.

But id say its more annoying when some1 makes comments about it. seeing as i could be a dyslexic who has tried so much harder to make this posts sound legible than u could ever imagine.

some people are clever some people arent. would prolly class myseld aas in the lower few on this board. but hey that only matters to people who want to consider themselves cleverer than they outwardly appear.

And btw look at my occupation a pirate who didnt call every1 m8y wouldnt be a very good 1.

and i dont need an iq of above 12 to benchmark a gfx card its quite easy to do. just click a buttom and read the result.

and rich thanx m8y but it really doesnt bother me about things like this im quite used to it dont get dragged down by it.

we will always be respected members of eocf

The easiet way to annoy an englishman is tell em you prefer the company of americans or even the french

Right lads, back on topic, or the thread's got as much life in it as a Service Station pastie.

Richy baby and Buzzard, lets have no more of it lads.

Bouncin - I atleast, was trying to give you a friendly kick up the bum. Appologies if it snowballed a bit, and others took it a bit too far.

Now, XT Benchmarks, or the threads going the way of Mark Thatcher...

Friendly kick up the bum acknowledged but its not gonna change the way i type m8y.

i apologise for my poor grammar and constant shorthand but thats the way i do things thats they way i like it and it aint gonna change cos some1 else doesnt.

i have helped a lot of folks on these forums shorthand or not. just ask novajoe who spent 3 hours helping him set up his pc the other night over msn?.

i didnt even know the guy he added me too msn asked for my help and i was pleased to give it cos he appreciated it .
To me thats what a forum community should be about and not ripping some1 for their short comings

    *steers on right path*

I lucky enough to get myself an x800xt pe from overclockers.

3Dmark03 scores was 11498, with overdrive on @526.

Not the greatest score I admit for this card, But I pleased with result since I still using stock 32bit and generic ram.

Got scared the other morning, powered up and had big artifact vertical stripes! reset machine and powered up fine.

Can you get artifacts from a cold machine, same effect as overclocking/heat??

My BIOS logo screen very occasionally goes weird on me ... dunno why ... don't change the settings. Reboot and it's fine.

My score's stock with value ram (12,818) and without Overdrive but then I do have a faster CPU ... seems a big difference though? I dunno enough about how they measure these things tbh.

You shouldnt really try and compare 3D mark scores with other people as there is always too many differences, different RAM different motherboard, different CPU, different apps running at same time, different atmospheric pressure 3D Mark is most useful for comparing against your own spec, when you upgrade when you try and tweak thing to see what improvements you can make. Also you never know what setting people have used you can get huge boosts or huge losses in score from different quality settings in the display control panel. You gain about 300 marks just by having a clean install of XP!
