Will it install plugins? I like GMail manager for FF and Adblock, gestures too. Also bookmark sync.
Using Chrome at the moment, for normal surfing its great! Never liked Opera, although now I have about 5 browsers on my PC!
And back to IE I go...
What do you think the reason for those terms was, they must have known someone would read it and kick up a fuss. What are the chances of them changing it if enough people throw it back at them?
I`ve never read the terms and conditions for FF or IE so dont know if they have a similar rule
Spot on.

and in answer to earlier questions: ithe toolkit for the Windows version is WTL.
oh, and if you want to avoid the EULA applying to you, build from source: http://dev.chromium.org/developers/h...ctions-windows
the most interesting bit there is that you can compile it using the normal Webkit Javascript engine OR with V8 - meaning benchmarking of heavy AJAX apps can be done to compare them
Looks too much like actual work, to me. It reminds me to deciding to have an extension built on your house, then deciding to dig up the clay to produce hand-made bricks to build it with. As a foundation member of the Lazy Ol' Git Club, I have a serious allergy to doing things the hard way.
I'm guessing that EULA will vanish rather rapidly in the new build - they've also got the safari carpetbombing bug to fix as well as a few javascript glitches...
Still, repeat the following: It's still a BETA, it's still a BETA, it's still a BETA...
It should be good by the time it hits the final build, it's probably the best beta of a browser I've used
It renders our corporate website at blinding speed, and that's full of all sorts of ugly things - asp.net, asp.net AJAX, Radcontrols, hand written javascript apps..

Hmm.
Yeah, it's not moved for me.
Thats not good at all..especially not from a company that I normally respect, like Google.
There are guidelines for application deployment for a reason..the number one reason why Windows has often been called unstable (and similar words) is due to application developers not following the guidelines.
Still, this is only a beta, so hopefully Google will notice that they are ignoring all the rules and will put the exe/data in the correct places for the final build!
