I liked it except for the end which is contrived nonsense.
Spoiler alert.
There's plenty of room for both of them & even if there wasn't, there was loads of other wreckage he could have climbed onto. I just sat there shouting at them when I realised how it was going to end.
yeh it was mushy at the end but the cgi was good..

I agree with some other posters, choosing just one is impossible.

watched pearl harbour last night, first time in ages ..dont care what people say still a good film
I watched it too.....because my wife wanted to.....and I don't care what people say, but Ben Affleck is a fat ham of an actor....and in terms of overblown exploitation of sentiment it ranks up there with Armageddon....
And if you seriously think that it's the best film of all time (this is that thread) then you should be shot.

I've got a few favourite films (in no particular order):
- Fight Club
- American History X (man what a film, definitely worth checking out)
- Shawshank
- The Matrix (just the first one though)
- Memento
- Schindlers List (This really is a MUST see)
They're not necessarily films I can watch over and over again (apart from the Matrix), but they're ones that get me thinking, and that's what a great film does for me.

Watched Fight Club dozens of times and can't see myself getting bored with it anytime soon...
