Good characters and dynamics with each other, with clean animation (nothing amazing). Ignore the synopsis, just watch it
That is an accurate desciption, "Space Wombles". Like it.

Ahh I remember a couple of the 'side characters' having really good background/story/writing. Won't go into specifics to spoil it for anyone but the girl on the moon and the guy with the walnut cracker hand exercise are two story arcs I remember I highly enjoyed.

vbswong: Hayate no Gotoku season 2 is set in the same time frame as the first? Could it be abit like FMP and FMP Fumoffu? FMP being the main story and Fumoffu set in the same time line but only being just episodic comedic side stories?

I enjoyed Planates as well, good show and has a background story that would actually appeal to all even if you're not into sci-fi etc. You will be forgiven though, if you mistake the leading girl for a guy for a short while though ~ I prefer traditional Anime like IkkiTousen etc

If so then it's more like Season One would be side stories imo.

For example i think it was the last episode of Season One ? Where you see Hinagiku and Nishizawa on holiday together with the Student Council Trio iirc which is rather random seeing as how they never knew or talked to each other in the whole of the first season.

In season two it's shown how they met etc. and since the first season didn't really have any plot points the second season just slots in somewhere around there it seems. Also not to mention that there was that episode near the end that went on about how it was only a few days away from Hina's birthday yet there was no mention of it in subsequent episodes . Supposedly that's going to be addressed in this season as well.

I am a sucker for some really bad cheesey animes....

    Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S

Seriously, it's quite cheesey but I just love watching it. I really look forward to the next episode. It's a combo of music, fantasy and romance. I suspect there will be some fights as the previous series had some musical fights. I wonder if there is a Corticarte figurine....

Just finished watching Samurai Deeper Kyo.
Pretty good the way they tied real historical characters within an alternate universe setting, though it makes the Big Evil Boss' identity obvious.

    Re: The Anime Thread :)

I'll have to look up Samurai Deeper Kyo. See what it's like.

I watched ep 00 and ep 01 of Kiss X Sis. It's...erm...yeah...almost....almost hentai...

Almost finished Captain Harlock; it's ok but must remember this is an animation from 1978. I'm hoping there will be a major plot twist in the final few episodes. Other than that, still loving Guin Saga.

    Re: The Anime Thread :)

Samurai Deeper Kyo was the second anime I ever watched, and this was a couple years back mind you. Was really cool; I have it on DVD somewhere, need to watch it again. When it Kiss X Sis going TV, the OVA is only 2 eps :'(

Been catching up on Kurokami; during the middle the plot started to get very thin but around the 18th/19th ep it all came together and I think the final eps are going to be brill (only subbed till ep 20 so far). Might review it on my blog later.

Question: Anyone know where I can get 1920x wide anime wallpapers? Want some decent stuff thanks

    Toradora is great

I just found a really great place to download hi-res wallpapers. I was in particular looking for something from K-ON! and just posted about it on my blog. You can download a really great shot of Mio there, 1920px wide too

Just to let anyone that'a interested know SkyJapan have a new legit online shop. I personally tend to use either them or Anime United.

On the downside I've not purchased or had the time to watch anything for aaaaaaaaages
So i'm doing a budget run through Anime United, buying 5 random titles as long as they're £10.99 or less, & see what I come up with.

As promised to both Sleepyhead (ages ago) and OiD in the Tattoo thread. Here's my Lum Tattoo from Urusei Yatsura. This along with Bubblegum Crisis was the catalyst for my Anime addiction back in 94. I have thought about adding Ten-chan, but have so many ideas for more Anime inspired Tattoos that it can wait for now.

    Hope you like

Hopefully people can see this, if any one has problems let me know.
