World War Z. The Jerusalem zombie wall scene was pretty good.
World War Z. The Jerusalem zombie wall scene was pretty good.
The Wolverine. And besides the fact that Hugh Jackman was smoking hot, it was also a much much better story than X-Men Origins: Wolverine (sorry, comic-adaptation-fangirl here haha)
Went to see Rush on Friday, I wasn't expecting much but glad I went to see it, I thought both actors played their respective roles well and was amazed at how much of the film was true, absolutely men of steel back then. Niki lauda is a pretty amazing human being.
After Earth = After Birth.
The new Riddick film.
The dialogue for fairly poor and destroyed parts of the film that could have been good, and the ending was annoyingly blunt.
But as a Riddick fan, for the most part it was a solid movie.
The Master
Wonderful acting (especially Joaquin Phoenix) and beautifully shot, but just didn't feel it.

"After Earth".....disappointing tbh, they could have done so much with it. 5/10
"This is the End".....Brilliant,.....nice touch them acting as themselves....they must have had a right laugh doing this film. 8/10

I thought that particular scene was stunning. The film was OK, nothing amazing (apart from the aforementioned scene), but very watchable. 7/10
After Earth = Meh. 4/10
Just got around to watching Underworld:Awakening at the weekend too. Pretty standard fare, for the series, but I'd watch Kate Beckinsale give a speech on life insurance.
6/10 for the movie, 10/10 for Kate.
I saw the conjouring at a local cinema.
6/10 - I'm scared of the dark and this film only made me have to sleep with a light on for 2 nights. It was also more upsetting that anything because of children getting hurt. There was maybe 1 or 2 jumpy parts in it. The 6 points come from the story which made it not so terrible. Definitely not the scariest movie. I was really disappointed because I thought that I was going to be really badly scared. The nerves before seeing the film gave me more of a scare than the whole film did.
Watched Christopher Nolan's Memento again last night, starring Guy Pearce. One of my top ten films. Truly excellent. 9/10
Elysium....good film if you are in to sci-fi and some pretty cool effects.
8/10 wasn't epic but enjoyable and the plot doesn't seem to far of for the reality of the future.
Silent Hill Revelation - there was a revelation there but not in a good way. That was 90 minutes I could have spent sleeping.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon - ermmm... almost too fast for me... standard Transformers fare with the plot leaping all over the place as confusingly as the bots transform. Glad I watched it but wouldn't repeat the experience.
Cowboys & Aliens - almost ashamed to admit it, but I really liked it! Cowboys, Aliens, Explosions, a vague plot.... what's not to like Short of adding a nubile vampire mistress, it ticked all the boxes for me
The other night I watched halo 4....got to say my expectations were low but I was quite impressed with it. Very polished style and master chief was pretty awesome.
