Watched 21 Jump Street (the new one) at the weekend, it was better than expected, with a surprise cameo...

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

After seeing Mark Gatiss' very excellent documentary on Horror Europa, I have been revisiting some of my old X and H cert horror films, including "Hands of Orlac", "Les Diaboliques", and "Eyes without a face"....

Next few days I'll be watching some slightly newer films - "Creature from the Black Lagoon", and a real gem from the early 70s, a film I've been looking for ever since then, "Chosen Survivors"

    Yayyy

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

I watched Contagion on DVD from Lovefilm last night

    http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt1598778/

I struggled to get into this film, found it rather boring at times and the plot wasn't that great tbh.

    Overall not bad 6/10

    Watched Lockout last night http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt1592525

Some poor CGI at the start chase sequence but enjoyed it overall.

Whatever you do then dont watch the , " The Ghoulies " it may not be a good choice considering your current predicament . ( esp given that infamous scene )

Just watched War Horse - wasn't expecting to like it as I'm not a fan of war movies, but it was very good, 8/10.

Watched 'Sherlock Holmes - A Game Of Shadows' last night..I didn't have high expectations but it was a really enjoyable two hours. It's not really Sherlock Holmes but great fun nevertheless. 8/10

    Waking Ned Devine

Quite an amusing irish comedy, but not really my cuppa.

If you liked stuff like " Last of the Summer Wine " you will prob love this - if not like me you'll think its ok.
