Watched 3 LF disks over the Christmas period, apart from the usual Christmas films:
The Tit and The Moon - strange Spanish film about a child who's jealous of his younger brother getting milk from his mum, so decides to go and find another woman to give him her breast. Not as weird as that description sounds, but still weird.
Sur mes Levres (Read My Lips) - Decent French film about a deaf girl who befriends an ex-con (Vincent Cassel - married to Monica Bellucci) who's just been released from prison and comes to work in her company.
Best Exotic Marigold Hotel - Warm film about a bunch of oldies who decide to go and live in India. Stellar cast.
Watched Skyfall a few nights back.
Enjoyed it thoroughly. was surprised by the storyline a bit, in a good way.
Avatar was on last night too, reminds me of Fern Cotton, nice on the eyes but get bored after 30mins.
Money Ball
Gangster Squad
One can never stop saying Thank You
I watched "Up" for the first time the other day... I didn't cry, honest guv...
Really enjoyed District 9.
Got some deep routed themes going on in there. Apartheid, racism. Very good story and a brilliant movie.
Hope for a sequel.
Keep an eye open for ELYSIUM, coming out later this year. Same director, and looks to have similar depth to District 9 - NICE!
linky
EDIT: and I just saw it also features Sharlto Copley - woot! I did not know that

Now that sounds good as well.
Another movie to add to my list.
48 Hours. Absolute classic.
My Home Cinema (Getting on a bit now )

not strictly a movie, but you get the drift
Taken 2 has just been watched.
Rather good but the first one is still the best.
