Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Just watched a couple of movies recently , I watched Red first ( I know I watched it abit late ) and then found out Red 2 had also came out so I watched that . I found them to be great movies to watch the first one would get an 8/10 and Red 2 would get a 7/10 . I also re watched all of the transporter series which are all just action packed amazing movies. And this led me to a movie called Parker which I also enjoyed and would rate 8/10.

Boys Don't Cry. I remember watching it years ago and saw it on Netflix the other day. Kind of strange, I kept on forgetting Hilary Srubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish was in it.

PAIN & GAIN with Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson. Freaky true story about bodybuilders gone amok trying to realise the 'Merican Dream. Pretty funny. Didn't realise until the end that it was a Michael Bay film. Makes sense in terms of a certain flavour, and definitely far better than any of his big budget Transformer-style pics. Recommended.

I read the true story afterwards. Areas of embellishment but only to be expected.
One can never stop saying Thank You

Watched Pacific Rim, which I was hesitant about, but it was brilliant. Not much to follow, just massive things having massive fights. Big screen and big speakers are a must.

    Kind of a cloverfield/transformers crossbreed.

22 Jump Street. Basically, if you love 21 Jump Street (the recent movie), you'll love this one, too.

Just saw the new Transformers Age of Extinction movie on a whim. Did really enjoy it as when I'd seen the previous Dark side of the moon I was expecting it to be fairly average. Its also nice to see a different lead although I was a bit dubious of Wahlberg he did fairly well in his role.

Pacific Rim - big robots smacking monsters. If you zone out for the bits inbetween its good fun.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

Been on holiday so it's been a while since the last update. Most recent were:

The Book Thief: I thought it was good, but my wife, who's read the book, was angry at some of the omissions.

Grand Budapest Hotel: Good comedy from Wes Anderson, Ralph Fiennes is excellent.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

My most recently viewed film was a The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

It wasn't bad actually, I was kind of expecting Ben Stiller to ruin it but he didn't, it was very reminiscent of Into The Wild (directed by Sean Penn), and then guess what, the elusive photographer he spends half the film chasing is none other than Sean Penn!

No wonder the similarities were so striking!

CAPTAIN AMERICA : Snow warrior or something like that. Loved the bit where the bad guys try to kill Sammy
