Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

I tried to watch 2 films at the weekend:

1st: Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. Mistakenly ordered via Lovefilm - I thought I'd ordered the Dark Knight Rises. What I got was a cartoon.
2nd: The Brown Bunny. A total self-indulgent load of codswallop. Couldn't even be bothered to wait until the famous scene. One of the rare films I've switched off part way through.

All in all, not a good weekend, film-wise...

Haven't seen the Dark Knight Returns yet, but Year one was better than Rises.

Watched the Sherlock Holmes comedy 'Without A Clue' last night..was harmless fun and a bit heavy handed at times but entertaining in it's own way.

Not much of a movie buff - I think it was TRON and I didn't enjoy it

Jack Reacher - if you haven't read the books then Tom Cruise as the lead shouldn't offend too much.

Sword of Sherwood Forest - Classic, with Peter Cushing, Oliver Reed, Nigel Green and Desmong Llewellyn. Half decent film with good sword play and storyline.

This Sunday, it was The Sweeney. Get yer trahsers on, you're nicked!

I enjoyed it, it brought the story up to date quite nicely. Hope they do a sequel...

Beerfest, walked in to the flatmates watching it so decided to rewatch as I do love the silliest of the whole thing

Its worth it just for the drunk Barry scene that we can all relate to

Im planning to watch, " Lords of Salem " after hearing someone compare it too El Topo and in the future Stoker .

Recently watched , " Dark Skies " and was actually pleasantly surprised - given how bad it had been rated . a good 7 / 10 I reckon for me.

Re: Your most recently watched movie/film?

    Just watched: Identity (DVD)
    My rating: 8/10
Comment: Last saw this film years ago. It's a thriller starring John Cusack and Ray Liotta (and others). Certainly worth a watch if you like that sort of thing and don't mind the occasional bit of gore.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0309698/

Description from the back of the box:
Ten strangers with secrets are brought together in a savage rainstorm: A limo driver, an '80s TV star, a cop who is transporting a killer, a call girl, a pair of newlyweds, and a family in crisis, all take shelter at a desolate motel run by a nervous night manager. Relief in finding shelter is quickly replaced with fear as the ten travellers begin to die, one by one. They soon realise that, if they are to survive, they'll have to uncover the secret that has brough them all together.

Last film i watched was the new Die hard. Has got to be one of the worst films I've watched this year. They should have stopped at the third! So slow i just ended up serving the internet on my tablet with it on in the background!c
