Watched John Wick, it was a great actioner with Keanu Reeves, although I felt it had a slow start to it. All part of character building but once into the film it was great.

Primer. Caught it on Netflix a few weeks ago. I enjoyed it.
American Sniper. I wanted to read the book first seeing as it's been on my pile of things to read since last summer but I ended up watching it anyway. Some things are exaggerated for the sake of the film which is to be expected but not as many as you might imagine. One thing I would say though, despite the action orientated nature of the movie is that it doesn't play like it's based on "the deadliest sniper in U.S history" as seems to be one of the more popular strap lines for both the movie and the book. Kyle was undoubtedly a talented marksman and worthy of the title but it's a story about a guy who struggles with the number of people he couldn't save on the battlefield rather than somebody keeping count of his kills, at least in my opinion. Either way I highly recommend it!
watched into the woods with the kids
Went and saw Tinkerbell and the Neverbeast this morning with the kids at the Odeon. Seen them all now (blame my 4 year old daughter) and this is as good as the rest of them. Fun story, mild peril and a happy ending. All good fun for the morning.
Finally got around to watching The Raid last night. Epic fight scenes and the acting isn't as dubious as it could be . Would recommend a watch .
Fury
3/10. Mabee i was expecting too much, but just didn't deliver.
Mabee i was a little hard on it. I just think with films and TV series like Saving private Ryan, Valkyrie, Pacific, and Band of Brothers (all excellent) we've been spoilt with great war stories in recent years. I think fury represented a step back and a more 'classic holywood'
Although given the vastly positive views on Amazon, it seems most people love it.
I watched X-men 3 at the weekend. I think it was the weakest of that batch of the series. 6/10. The post-credits bit was a bit far-fetched...
