The Gentlemen. Guy Ritchie as his best!

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - 9/10. Amusing re-telling of the Sharon Tate murder, without her being the focus of the film. Looks and sounds pretty good in 4k, totally Tarantino finish, really enjoyed.
Hotel Artemis (Amazon Prime). 7.5/10. Good, gritty film with a strong cast and a stylish atmosphere. It builds nicely and the 95 minute length is ideal for this type of film, so it doesn't drag or seem strung out. Well worth a watch.
Finished knives out and I think the direction is great, the performances are wonderful, and the pace is mostly good and the movie is a completely enjoyable, highly recommended.
Finished watching Cobra Kai (brilliant) and currently watching Doom Patrol and The Boys... Both very enjoyable with lots of dark humor.
I watched "Operation Hummingbird". Usually I don't watch such films often, but this one interested me. The trailer is interesting. The film is specific. Those who are not interested in the technical aspects of communication may not understand the meaning of competition in speed.
Jojo rabbit was exceptionally good.
Tenet
Really enjoyed Mulan on Disney+. Can't believe my Mrs actually enjoyed any form of a Kung Fu movie. She hates them.
The Old Guard. Pleasently surprised.
i watched it a few days ago. it was ok, you've kinda got to watch it twice, which is a bit silly, it doesn't really work on a single viewing, unless you've got both super good aural processing going on (chris nolan films are known for their intentional mumbliness, the theory being that it forces you to concentrate harder, but it just turns me off really) and pay a lot of attention and also suspend a lot of disbelief, and once you've done all those things, twice, it's a decent, but not amazing movie.
i haven't seen timecop in a while but it's basically a remake.
I enjoyed Inception enough to see it at the cinema more than once, not because I felt I needed to in order to decipher the plot, but to enjoy picking up on those things I missed the first time round. I don't like the idea of needing to see it twice though.
EDIT: Tenet is basically Inception but with a different concept, there are so many tropes that run through both, as well as the same actor playing basically exactly the same role. Pretty sure they got the same orchestra to make the same deep horn sounds (what we really need to do is create a powerful sense of dread) that run through the action scenes.
I turned off Interstellar about a third of the way through. Just didn't catch my attention at all. I was close to doing that with Tenet as well tbh and that's actually the first time ever that I've decided not to go with that urge and then been correct not to do so.
No spoilers though please as I haven't got round to the beginning yet.
