I know this isn't a trailer thread but once or twice a year I watch vids like this. Really feels like there's been a dearth of good sci-fi / fantasy films in recent years, certainly a lack of creativity if not budget and/or production values, so Little Fish, Chaos Walking and Midnight Sky look quite promising to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-uv...OqZjjy05MwFOSp

The Wailing - I would give it 8/10 as it was a good mystery film that I had to think over afterwards as there was a lot of symbolism to good and evil. It gave off a similar vibe like Memories of Murder which I previously enjoyed too.

    Great Scott!

Gave my 7yo son his first viewing of Back to the Future at the weekend, he loved it. His best film ever. Granted he hasn't got a huge catalogue to judge on, but I'd say it's a positive. It was the 4k disk from the Ultimate Trilogy, well worth it, best I've ever seen it.

Alive. not bad Korean zombie movie.

Love and Monsters. If you like they way they directed Ready player one you will probably like this too.

2067. As the name suggests, sci-fi film, plot is not bad.

Possessor. This film makes you have to watch it twice to understand it.

Boss Level. Another version of Edge of Tomorrow but different plot.

Pinkfong & Baby Shark's Space Adventure (although not really by choice). They travel to different planets to collect whatever and the songs get played. The new space bits are in 3D and old music videos in 2D, which I suspect is due to cheapness rather than a stylistic choice.

Superstore - easy to watch, 20 minute episodes. I wonder how it stacks up against Trollied as it seem to have similar premise.
Schitt$ Creek - gets into the groove after season 1. Some characters better than others, I found Daniel Levy character to be very likable.

Watched The Social Network last night, it's up there in terms of films. Jesse Eisenberg was good as Zuck.

The Little Things - Denzel, Jared Leto & Rami Malek to name a few. Heard a few bad things about it, but actually really enjoyed it, pleasantly surprised with the ending too.

Spartacus (1960) directed by Stanley Kubrick with Kirk Douglas. Wow those background shots were amazing, so much action in one frame

^ Se7en is a fantastic movie if you're into thrillers. Definitiely need to give that one a watch again since I've only seen it the once and can't remember most of what happens but I remember loving it.

That's being quite generous imho! It borrows heavily from other films (particularly 'Aliens'), even lifting one of Sigourney Weaver's lines practically word-for-word.
