it is linked at the end of my earlier post
it has a lot of 'refer to printed media for more information' in it though , hence why i called it shoddy...

Damn it, stop editing posts! I refresh the page expecting to see a new post, but then realise you've added more into previous posts!
I was gonna call it a night, but really not tired, back playing up, although numbers seem to be dropping that even a roll call wont produce many names
ah yes but this way i don't get as many people accusing me of artificially inflating post count (cos thats a really important thing /sarcasm) (not that anyone does.. but if they did... i'd be ready....)
(i removed this from an edit just for you )
edit (response to \/ \/ ):
aah but that thread wouldn't be adding to the discussion... so there is no need to post a separate posts for it
and i monitor new posts coming in via msn and thread subscription... it just means on busy days i have to delete 300 odd emails.....
alright this is update
Got into base station after reset, but now it kicked off the vail desktop also! I have to use my iPhone and it is e trendoy slow! I am trying to reset modem, then see where I am from there, ideas??
turn the power of the base station off for 20 seconds to discharge everything, and then take it from there... you should be able to connect with the desktop via cable then...
edit: infact try returning it to its factory settings... as you should be able to connect like original buy day then.
i'm guessing to reset to factory default you need to power off and then power on while holding the reset button in (i have no idea if that is how to do it... the manual just says: 'For more
information about how to restore factory default settings from the base station itself, see Chapter 1 of your printed
User’s Guide')
it is good (i have the 701) aslong as you do a few tweaks such as enabling full desktop, compiz etc, etc
but full Dtop is easy its just
sudo su
apt-get update
apt-get install ksmserver kicker
and then just press the power button and click full desktop.
also, it's better when you overclock the processor back up to 900mhz
(sorry for going OT, especially since your browsing with an iphone ATM)

So how many devices have you got connected?
For the mo, just connect one device (wired if at all possible), go to the command line, and type ipconfig/release hit enter, then type ipconfig/renew this should renew your ip address.
Then try going back in and see if it works doing that.
in base station it is stuck on "broadbnd connection : connecting"
Help?

Then plugging in modem, wait for load up, then router, wait for load up, then comp
