Limited or No Connectivity - Help

Will not connect to base station
I am connected through modem not router
When connected to router , it says connected , but under the base it says connecting

ideas?

HERE is a handy page showing the menus and things for anyone that wants to help but doesn't know what settings are there

edit: In the Wide Area Network section you can set your connection type (Dynamic, Static or PPPoE. You can even disable the base station's Internet connection completely.

make sure that isn't the case........

also, in the manual it says that resetting doesn't change some user settings...

I wasnt lurking, just machine was left defragging/AV scanning overnight.
