Be* or Nildram?
I cant afford to pay more than £25 a month for BB. I need atleast 8mbs download and it must be reliable.
Be* and Nildram seem to more or less tick all the boxes.
Does anyone here have any experience with any of them?
Thanks.

Any thoughts on Nildram?
never heard of them
I'm with Nildram (and have been since my local exchange was upgraded to ADSL about 2 years ago) have to say it's been faultless so far with good speeds. They have a 50Gb cap per month on the consumer products, but if you don't use it all it rolls over to the next month.
I see, said the blind man to his deaf wife as he stuck his wooden leg out of the door to feel if it was raining.
I've not personally used them, but I've always heard good things of Nildram.Originally Posted by DeludedGuy

same here, heard good things about nildram, It was my second choice over F2S at the time. Check out www.adslguide.org > go to compare > tick a few possibilities that fit your criteria and then chose compare.

We use Nildram's business broadband service and that's steady as a rock. Support is good if required, and their customer service seems on the ball.
I just moved house with BE and they are fantastic. Good speeds, connection never dies etc etc. Quite cheap as well. Also if you signup 24 people or something like that you get free broadband for life
Does anyone know what be*'s dl limit is, as they also have a FUP warning thing..... (Tiscali's was only 1GB per day - easy with the amount of SPAM I recieve...)
Woohoo now Assistant Manager!
Nildram (AkA Jolt) have always been a good provider - up there with the best when ADSL started to take off a few years ago, and I expect they will be the same now.
As far as I can tell from adslguide, Nildram uses RADSL to provide up to 8meg, and Be use ADSL2+.
In my personal experience with both technologies, Nildram and their RADSL would be more reliable, and it will be easier to change off them in the future if you want to as I don't think they need to install their own equipment (ie no LLU). ADSL2+ would probably be faster though, but this all depends on how far from the exchange you are.
I reccomend to go with Nildram, a good company with a long trusted history, a good price - and if you play games you are sorted as you get the best connection possible to Jolts game servers (excluding special peering etc)

I used to be on Nildram for quite a while and they're support was superb.
I had multiple IP's for my network, each 1 had a custom hostmask and the connection was stable as Larry.
Now... I'm on a very old Bulldog line that's still BT but Bulldog give me 2 Mb Adsl and soon as Be arrives I'll be laughing
