The missus always maintained she never married a geek.

    Re: Fan Directions & Optimisation

Well I've got it all up and running now, and it's truly a beauty to use after my ancient computer (3000+ Athlon XP, 9800p, 1GB RAM). I went with Pob255's idea and it seems to work nicely. Temperatures seem very cool, although I did crash with a graphically "colourful" screen on Crysis after about 30 minutes, which is odd because the 3D card came with a Zalman cooler and I didn't overclock it (past its default overclock).

I'm just too busy blasting away on TF2 to do much else at the moment .

    Thanks for all the help!

No Major problems putting it together then?

I really do like the CM690 now even with it's couple of minor short falls it is a lovely case.

    Re: Fan Directions & Optimisation

The only problem I had was with my sound card: it didn't work in one PCI-E slot and the other two weren't viable due to leaving about 1cm of space between the GPU fan and the sound card. Currently using onboard until that's sorted out.

I really like this case too, though I think it would benefit massively from a handle; it's rather awkward to fit into my desk, and quite heavy as far as cases go.
