    Re: Stretched Image?

Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated! I just wish Mesh could have made all this clearer when selling monitors with this aspect ratio as the manual doesn't say much about it at all.

I do have a few questions though - in games is it best to run at the native resolution too? Or if that isn't available will other 16:10 aspect resolutions such as 1280x800 be okay?

And finally... if a game does not have aspect ratio resolution support, will the monitor/graphics card stretch the image (say a regular 1024x768 resolution) or will it adjust it somehow?

Hope that all makes sense. Thanks!

    Re: Stretched Image?

If your game can run in native resolution thats the best way to run it. Even sacrificing anti-aliasing etc.. I normally find better than lowering the res.

If you do lower the resolution it will scale to fit the whole screen yeah. Most LCD screen's tend to look a bit dodgy when you do this which is why people try their hardest to play at native

Glossy screens tend to do a better job than matte one's.. good thing for laptop users
