Boobs, just for a day, you know, just to see.
...a new TV, the 32" CRT one we have is fine but I want a new one. I can't afford the one I want, I can't justify replacing one that is perfectly fine and the room is probably too small for a 60" LCD anyway...
...and finally, I want my garage back. It's full of our life, it has been for two years while we worked on the house. I can't put the stuff back in the house because it's not finished. I can't finish it because....well, it's boring...and so it goes on and on and on...

I currently have an old Dell desktop running as a server. I would like to upgrade it to something that can
1) Run ESXi or Server 2008 virtualisation
2) Act as a fast file server, this means a 4 disk RAID 5 (hardware not host) and gigabit network.
3) Hot swapable drives, 'cause I can.
I would also need to get a gigabit switch, 'cause my routers switch is only 100meg. Probably a smart switch, again because I can.
I would also like to upgrade my old Raptor. I have on-board SAS, so a 15k SAS disk is a possable. But maybe one of these instead, or as well. Maybe as the OS disk for the previously mentioned server upgrade.
Oh, and I could do with an HD TV.
Does anyone know what next weeks lottory numbers are?
pictures are better than words.
NAD M15 HD
NAD M25 7 channel power amp - 160W RMS per channel
plus some of these
B&W CM series
they sound absolutely marvelous, look like pure filth and have the price tag to match.
my current B&W 600 speakers sound great hooked to my PC, explosions rattle the furniture around if its one more than 1/4 volume cant wait to try something thats 4 times more powerful
I want a Silverstone Raven Case. It doesn't make any sense and I can't rest a coffee cup on top of it because of the angles, but I think they look awesome, plus the novelty of the motherboard mounting @ 90 degrees. But ~150 for a case boggles my mind right now.
Aside from looking like a Decepticon though, there's no reason at all to get one.
My case would have cost me £160 if I had got it full retail (I got it for about £110 including the various fixes I needed to make for getting it B-grade off OCUK), my friend spend £120 on a case, and another friend would have payed £140 for his case (He got his B-Grade as well), so £150 for a case isn't that unusual.

The idea of paying 150 right now for no performance increase is what I have issues with - but I'm hopefully starting a new job soon, so we'll see that case racked up with an Intel/AMD rebuild a few paychecks down the line.
Now onto something truly ridiculous:
Zalman Reserator1 v2
Looks amazing to me, would love to have that perched behind a gloss-black Case, only trouble being it would struggle to get near any decent air coolers if the reviews are anything to by (doesn't even list G80 series as compatible with it <- That old)

Since it was designed for a GPU + CPU loop, I reckon it could probably handle a modern quad as a pure CPU loop, though I'd probably disregard the blocks and look for something with i7 mounting capability. So add in a new CPU block to that order and you're looking at paying waaay too much
That said I love the idea of having a setup like that, rather than Rads modded onto the back of cases- I'm not a modder, so I'd make a pig's ear of any attempts.
Yeah... me too... argh. But I already bought a Prolimatech Megahalams... pah! Must... not... given to... temptation.
Fortunately my case can fit a up a tri-rad internaly, it has a slot just above the motherboard cage designed specifically for that purpose. But if I did get one of those, it even has holes in the back designed specifically for heat pipes to come out the back, so I could have that fitted and a closed case.
My ultimate plan for this iteration of this machine (might get one of those in a few years when I can justify a new system) was to have decent fans and airflow, and possibly a waterblock for the graphics card (depends on the quality of the aftermarket air coolers for the single PCB 295s).
As you can see here most of the stuff is stock on my system at the moment, I intend to upgrade it once I have payed off what I owe my friend and parents, with a full set of Noctua S12Bs, cooling system for the GPU, and a Asus Xonar DX2.
I've already given into tempetation once this year, must be partical now! (Just as a minor note, the "inital" budget for the my system was £1000. I dare you to price it up on OCUK).
