    Well, the only thing to be sorry about would be a lost WU - you decide just how sensitive you'd be about that Otherwise, why not, just find out what vcore the unlocked CPU is stable at and stick with that.

    In my experience, it is possible that future folding clients will make that lower voltage unstable so you may need to kick it up in the future (happened to me going from 6.27 to 6.30 SMP client).

    Last time it was stable for 8 hours then when I started messing with voltage and multipliers it decided it had had enough. Gonna leave it for now.

    Some boards original BIOS did not allow it to unlock, Like my board. When I tried to enable ACC the machine would just switch off before the BIOS screen showed and the only way to get it to run was to clear the BIOS again.

    They did make a new BIOS version for my board to unlock the extra cores but, I'd long given up by then so did not try it.
