wtf... thats looks like a 100inch monitor next to a 50 inch pc lol
Before:
The case was run with the side off to prevent overheating
After:
Moved back home for the summer, and to my suprise I was actually able to create a space as good as it was at uni. Had to trade in the older larger speakers for much smaller ones (Tannoy MX series surround sound for warfedale 9 series) I also have a PS3 setup now, which I have connected via DVI to the 2407, and use the HDMI switch on the amp to switch between PC and PS3 (audibly and visually).
Yep, it's a 205BW. I've actually just sold my AV amp and switched back down to stereo, (I really couldn't justify it in such a small setup) so I have them actually side by side now.
As you can see the dell 2407 is brighter and gives a better picture than the 205BW, but I think any SVA panel would be better. Screen space size, the 24" makes a bigger jump than you would think from 20".
That photo looks like it is at its highest. It can go all the way down until the bottom is about an inch from the desk (almost touching the stand). In portrait there's a similar clearance at its highest (ie, you can't lower it really).
You should have mentioned something when we were at the LAN; I could have demonstrated it for you.
It's been a while, but I've rejigged along the way
Um... is that a towel on the back of your chair?
Just had image of sweaty, topless racing game sessions.
It is made of towelling, but it's a football scarf from Sanfrecce Hiroshima. Sweating publicly is a tad rude, so their scarves are towelling to have a quick wipe down during a game.
There's also a Croatia Zagreb scarf and a couple of Wimbledon ones there too.
And yes, sometimes a 1 hour race can get a little warm!
