The TFT you have chosen is the best 20inch widescreen you can get. I dont think you will need to double think that.
Although, some other TFT's are cheaper, if you are not a display freak maybe a Dell 2007FPW will suit you better?

You'll need a 975 socket heatsinc. Can recommend the Zalman's. Good cooling and they're quiet.

Why do you want to buy now? Any real need to get a new rig right now?
Sounding abit like james.robinson, wanting some new everymonth
If you want something now...
I would get a Conroe for sure.
You can get the E6300 or the E6700 now, even if they are OEM versions, but who uses the stock HSF anyway?
E6300 OEM - £135
Gigabyte 965P DS4 - £130
2x 1GB Gskill 6400 ZX's - £175
Scythe Ninja Plus HP - £30
Leadtek 7950 GX2 - £375
Tagan 700 U25 700W - £120
Total - £965
Then you can add other bits and peices onto that. Thats probably the best bet I can think of for you.
Whats your overall budget? You need everything?
ok heres the final !!!!

comments, suggestions, slating etc is welcome
That power supply for a start, if its going for free would be crap. Aint heard anything from them before. Dont think it will be a quality psu which is what you need. The psu is the most important part of a new build. Get that wrong and you have a lot of hardware wasted down the drain.
The card is actually 7900 GX2 from what Ive been told. Its much longer than a 7950 GX2. Might have some problems when working around it in your case.
Also, I would change the CPU cooler. Get a Scythe Ninja Plus with a pretty quiet fan. 1) It would perform better. 2) You wont have a stupid looking LED fan in your case, that doesnt move much air.
Apart from those things... everything looks ok.
quick answer am i being a dick or can you run a 7950x on the asus board? which says its xfire but i cant see two gfx slots??
i mean the pci-e 16x is for anycard right?
