Izzy quit? When was this and why? She must have been pushing 35mill SP what about her husband, does he still play?

Can't think of a better person to be BBK's CEO than you though. Congrats.

Yup already done, he even admitted it ingame so nice logs for CCP. We wont get anything back they don't reimburse for this kind of thing, but you don't steal from us and get away with it.

Thanks man and yeah me too

Long and confusing story but if you really wanna know...

Hunter and Izzy got divorced, and that seemed to kick off a load of drama. She hasn't been playing for a few months now. I've been running BBK as 'Co-CEO' since then. All the usual divorce drama for a few months, but nothing to serious. Then out of nowhere, the other day Izzy came on and launched off a typical rage quit email saying she was closing the corp in 24 hours and logged back out.

Shockingly enough, the directors and membership, who had been quite content til this point; weren't best pleased that someone who had barely logged in for 6 months, was suddenly proclaiming everything was wrong with the corp and closing it.

So they decided en masse they weren't having any of that and managed to find me at 4am on a Saturday morning. I logged in, came to the same conclusion, immediately locked everything down and started a vote for a new CEO.

Mudsailor logs on, using izzy's account which he'd convinced her to give him now she was leaving. We're guessing at this point he intended to rob us there and then, but found the wallets and hangars emptied the dashing newly soon-to-be-appointed-once-the-damn-game-catches-up CEO, yours truly. Along with the big corp buttons locked out by the CEO Vote.

So he instead plays the saviour claiming to have convinced izzy to let him save the corp and offers to make me CEO(Already a forgone conclusion) by resigning that toon and promises to return the corp assets on the izzy account. So he makes me CEO, and then asks for director roles not an hour later for 'saving the corp' and alarm bells start ringing. After he's argued his point for about twenty minutes my spidey sense is still tingling. So I agree but stall by claiming it's must be bugged due to me just becoming CEO and I'll try tomorrow once the server's caught up. I couldn't just call him out on it, because I had no proof and he was still holding a lot of corp assets.

So I figure if the promised contracts go up I'm being overly paranoid, and he'll get his directorship, if not then I just saved a lot of money. Turns out I was right, 18 hours later I got a cryptic ranting email from where he tries to portray us as the bad guys in this little story and himself as anything but a thief and admits we're not seeing anything from Izzy's account again. No-one was having any of that either.

He's started another corp and tried to get some people he thought would side with him to join. So far just him, his alts and the sinking realisation that he just traded every friend he had in the game for a few industrial ships and a can of ore. Not even his wife, who plays, has joined it Probably because his actions just cost her every friend in the game too.

For us, lot of anger at the breach of trust especially for those who had worked hard to create these things, donated money towards them, or had ships entrusted with Izzy. Financially, the fact is we're a lot bigger and richer than we were when we built those things originally, so while the betrayal still stings replacing them is nowhere near task it was to create them. Just means we build 2 new caps this month instead of 5.

Yeah hunter still plays and thank you very much

wow they seemed pretty happy together when I was in BBK. Its odd when EVE and the "real world" overlap like that.

That’s a fairly incredible turn of events

Again, many GZ Chuck despite the unusual circumstances.

I'm just trying to find reference to the Faction ship changes.

Noah (CCP Hammerhead) seemed somewhat out of the loop yesterday whilst he was being interviewed on EvE TV, he didn’t seem aware of upcoming changes to any other ship class than the Faction BSs (EG: Faction Cruisers & Frigs).

Its good you have petitioned it, you might be able to get some of your assets back.

Thanks, yeah odd weekend but seems to be settling now.

http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard...channelID=3522 Has threads for all the ship changes from frigs to titans. Bit oif analysis here too http://www.eve-tribune.com/index.php?no=4_38&page=4

New faction ships are VERY cool. The Gila is brutal tore apart a corpies Ishtar with it and didn't break a sweat 125mbit drone bandwidth, 400m3 dronebay, room for ham's and an epic tank.

Vindicator is just loltastic, room for 8 T2 neutron blasters and a 25% dmg bonus right off the bat, along with webbing and other bonuses. Could go on but I could summarize it by saying I've beeen buying a lot of faction ships this last week

All the faction ships have very clearly defined style and role combat wise now. It's great.

Armageddon day Friday so if you've wanted to try a supercap and never had the skills that's the time, everything will be at L5 for the test.

is chaos still in BBK? I remember he was in a carrier when I was still using a thorax! Sitting behind the POS sheild looking like a spec of dust next to caps and BS's.

Yup, chaos is a director now. Playing wow a bit at the moment though, the filthy heathen. Flies a triage carrier nowadays. Those things are are awesome.

Looks like a few of us are super busy in RL at the moment, but most people look like they'll be back within the next couple of weeks or so.
