Seriously though, both new starting areas are great, they have put a massive amount of effort into them. However, Gilneas is a more serious starting area with a good storyline, Kezan on the other hand is fun filled and will have you laughing all the way through.

I'm hiding on EU-Bronzebeard at the moment, Alliance side though I did start a Goblin to see what it's like.

My biggest problem is that now there's too much to explore, I've still got to get my main to 85 and start gearing for raids, plus level Archeology, plus find time to play my alts and level my backup main to 85.

Really do appreciate the effort that's gone into the quest areas though, I mean, Fargo Flintelocke made me into Shaman-shot lastnight.....

Well I've got the game now and logged onto my last main (Human DK) on Tarren Mill PVP server.

The server is hugely inbalanced (75% horde I think) meaning that questing on the new areas is a nightmare!

On the upside, I started a Worgen druid and I am really enjoying that (level 28).

Still tempted to go back to Arathor though! Who is there from the old Hexus group?

hehe yeah Its a really polished Update Ijust hate that all my spare time is getting eaten up again by this game.

The goblin mount does look pretty immense although call of the wild is cool. Who needs a horsey or a go kart when you can get on all fours and run like a mofo

Okay so bowing to peer pressure I logged on to Thor - Arathor Level 60 Shaman - last night. After a brief chat with Stoo & Allen I'm now utterly lost as to what to do regarding all my characters.

My main at the moment is an alliance character on a PvP server but I am torn between starting afresh....

I created a troll druid & a goblin hunter but I'm still confused...

I blame Allen for this ;-)

Dude, seriously, play whatever character on whatever realm you think is best for your enjoyment, don't bow to peer pressure on that. It's you that's got the play the character, it's you that's got to enjoy playing it. If you really can't be bothered to roll a new char, which to be fair can appear daunting but with the latest changes it should be even easier than before, then stick with your 80 OPaladin.

At the end of the day, most realms have a handful of decent guilds on them. I was lucky to find one on Arathor that has a good mix of casuals and semi-hardcore (or at least those that play a LOT) and we have a great laugh in guild chat and on voice comms. As I said to you though, if you do decide to come back to Arathor, I'm sure I could swing you an invite despite the fact we only recruit 80-85's.

Have fun with whatever character you decide to play, and keep in touch.

So... me and a friend were sat at his house last night and we had the awesome idea of going to buy cata from the nearest Tesco 24...

Cool, no worries.

I have found my calling again, loving the Druid. Trying to finish Winter Veil to get the Long, Strange Trip achievement for the 310% Violet Proto-Drake, but those damn Reveler's will just not give me any more Snowflakes!

Apart from that, did another guild heroic yesterday, Vortex Pinnacle. I have to say, by far the easiest heroic I've done, and in some parts it actually seemed easier than the normal version!

I'm edging closer to 70 with Isa, work's been hectic so I've not really had the time to grind it out, but I should be able to ding 70 at the weekend, probably followed by dinging 60 on my shiny new death knight

Fixed that login bug btw, it turns out that the wow netcode is a bit rubbish and leaves loads and loads of wait connections open, eventually the router gives up and you can no longer connect, reboot the router, and everything works again.. Weird, but true.

Isadrel is now level 70 it took a little while to drag her to 68. but as soon as she was, off to northrend I went, and I gained two levels in a matter of hours, verrrrry niiiiiice

Anyone done much raiding yet? Gonna start soon, but tbh, I think we need a lot more geared people. Even my gear probably isn't fantastic for raiding yet and I've been playing quite a bit since Cata's release. Need to do more heroics though, but have to rely on guild, pugs are just AWFUL at the moment...
