Who's still playing WoW then?

On a serious note, I just ordered the battlechest... So I guess its no life for me for the next couple of months hehe But erm, Any ideas for someone who'll be completely new to WOW?

The Shattering has landed! And no-one has said anything about it yet??

So, what are people's thoughts on it? I think it's pretty damn awesome what they've done, the changes are pretty significant and very exciting. If you were ever thinking of coming back to WoW, now would be the time to do it. I think all of the starting areas have changed, but so far I have only tried the Undead (Brill, such an awesome town now) and Troll (<3 Zuni) starting areas. Both are now far more enjoyable.

New class/race combinations are available, except Goblin and Worgen obviously. Say hello to my Troll Druid! I am now considering have one of every class the Trolls can be, they are so awesome. As Cynical Brit says "Once you've gone Troll, you'll never reroll".

Anyway, slightly pee'd off with Druid tanking right now, I understand it's been changed for Cataclysm, but all mindless DPS still wanna do is AoE the hell out of everything, but hey, it's their repair bills. My Paladin, the only class I want to play that can't be a Troll , on the other hand is a whole load of OPness. I come on top of damage done every instance and almost do as much healing as healers.

Looking forward to rolling a Goblin though, really glad I didn't play on PTR or Beta realms, it's nice to be able to enjoy it on live for the first time.

Blizz' kindly provided 7 free days of play time which I've taken them up on.

I've just spent all evening running around and sitting in Orgrimmar. The place feels twice or more the size as it used to be.

I've sort of got my UI back up and running although I still need to sort out where powers go and what buttons do what. :/

As to tanking I haven't kept up with the reading for it but I watched the a movie of the old guild killing the Lich King and there was one warrior in the group so I think that says it all as to warrior tanking.

Yeah Stoo, I'm back there after a few years away on the "dark side" (read Alliance). Currently levelling my Druid up.

Leon, where are you gonna roll once it comes mate? Or are you gonna level one of your 80's?

If you wanna create new characters, I highly recommend Goblins, you will not stop laughing.

Yeah, the only chars I play now are Horde on Arathor. Still have my Alliance chars on Aggramar though. Moved or deleted all others.

If you have any on Arathor, or roll a new alt there, gimme a shout.

If any of the Hexus massiv' wants to sling me a buddy request on wow, my main char is still called Isadrel, although she morphed from undead to blood elf (so sue me if I wanted to look at something prettier while I play )

I could do with a hand sorting her out - she's only level 63, and has a bunch of junk for eq, lol
