I didn't have any problems with warriors till the lvl 60's started getting tier2 kit and epic lvl 60's. Even then in a straight fight it was still winnable. My experience of WSG was definitely going through first, second and even third enemies.

Earth bind totems usually supplement shaman's ability to annoy the hell out of warriors

what is a load of health for warriors at 44 (unbuffed)

Making nice progress in AQ now, we're at Princess Huran but with 0 green dragon kills (alliance have them camped ) we have low nature resist, so it's gonna take us a while to beat her I think.

Killed Fankriss in our second try, very easy but fun fight and the AE section before him is much better than the Broodlord suppression rooms Batlegaurd Sartura hurts for rogues though!
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

Not so much unbuffed compared to what ive seen, got around 2.5k unbuffed and can get just over 3k whiles buffed up to hell (PW:F - blood pact - blessing of kings [paladins FTL!!! still hate them even bein alli lol] and so on) but i do kinda go for Str over stam on most things

Id have to agree with the "another gnome warrior" lol but I also have to add that its SO much fun watchin a little gnome beat the hell out of a tauren ^ ^ makes me laugh every time

    (quote stolen from a friend)

If a tauren warstomps on top of a gnome wouldnt that be insta kill?

Paladins have the 60FR aura (and it's a 30yard aura instead of a 10 yard totem), hunters have the 60NR aura, and there's no need for frost resist (yet )

The extra resist is nothing compared to what alliance gain from the paladin raid wide blessings, 3-4 paladins fully buff the entire raid with blessings, and MT/melee groups with armor and FR. Where as you need 8 shamans to buff a horde raid.

Main bonus paladins have in raiding over shamans is two-fold:

    1. Aggro reduction. A single paladin can put blessing of salvation on everyone in the raid. By comparison horde need 8 shamans, and have to forgo windfury to get tranquil air for everyone. And BoS is better to boot (30% vs 20%).

    2. Mana regen. A second paladin can put blessing of wisdom on everyone in the raid for 33 (39.6 with talents) mana every 5s. Additional, that paladin (or any other) can then judge wisdom on the mob for a 50% chance to regain 59 mana when attacked. This includes wands and spells, meaning the casters and healers can get a lot of mana back quickly if needed.

Shamans have some nice other buffs on the other hand, such as windfury and strength of earth. They seem mainly oriented towards melee boosting, while paladins boost the casters more.

Plus these blessing last 15mins, rather than the 90 seconds most totems last for.

And they managed to bug some fights in AQ so totems cannot be used, for the Hunter boss in AQ20 the totem can get called as the play to be teleported to the altar, but the totem stays where it is, right near the bug spawn points so the maggot gets there right away and spawns an elite. In the Battlegaurd Sartura fight the whirlwind hits totems, and the adds move all over the place OOR of the totems anyway, good luck keeping the totems up without burning all your mana (also HoJ is very useful for that fight, give someone with 8k armor that can stun for 5 seconds from 10 yards pls). And then also the Twin Emporers fight when they switch places they wipe aggro on 40 players, but totems count as players, so aggro will get wiped on totems instead of some random players, totally ****ing up the encounter.

just a few things FR totem is 20yrds. (not 10)

Mana Stream totem is not caster based?. 140 mana every 3 secs for 12 seconds (more with talents)

whoever the shaman was is a numpty, just recast the totem that was teleported. It will despawn the one up on the top and keep it back down next to shaman to stop spawing the elite.

the 15mins thing vs 90 seconds is irrelevant only mana stream totem has a 5minute cool down.

Actually before the totem of salvation Horde had to put more effort into managing aggro and that helped educate the noobs. Because of the cushy BoS there were imo more noobs on alliance side who didn't know anything about aggro. But yeah, paladins are very nice in pve if they know what they are doing.

In PvP though one totem can slow down 100000000000000000000 enemies. Yes its easy to kill (unless u r a paladin and have to get to it first and waste a 2h hit on it) but someone has to make the effort. Plus blessings are purgable. And while you needed 8 shamans to buff 8 groups a paladin used to spend 1/3 of his time in MC constantly buffing - 600 times an hour, whether theres fighting or whether we are about to go and then suddenly someone needs mana or is afk and we wait 2 more mins and then have to rebuff again. New raid blessings FTW!
Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.
