Re: Who's still playing WoW then?

I dont understand the point of twinks. I mean I understand that they are stupidly op but is it just the fact that you can own other ppl and feel smug or is there a valid gaming reason for it?

Re: Who's still playing WoW then?

No good reason for it as far as i know - it cant be to build up loads of Honor points so your ready for level 70 because the amount of Honor you get as a level 19 twink is minimal at best!

I think its 100% smug dick factor!

Done the Aldor fall of death soo many times, you just get to see lots of skelly's at the bottom. The one i've done a few times is dismounting in the air, then remembering i'm not on my druid, oops, /splat

Thats sweet if you can get it. Find it a bit strange that they don't match the beta key to your account. Then again, its Blizzard

That's coz he's talking about the little cards in the goody bags handed out at Blizzcon, so they get away with selling them for so much as you get a pet too, a Tyrael.

Then again, the invites sent out recently to random people aren't linked either...

Re: Who's still playing WoW then?

i have been playing wow for the past few days and so far i do not like it.

the controls and combat from what i have seen so far feels very slow and sluggish. it takes seconds before my character does another melee attack that i more or less play this game in window mode whilst browsing sites because teh combat is boring.

in guild wars the combat and gameplay is more lively then wow even at the early levels of play. The servers im on include killrog and bonzebeard all seem dead and empty with next to no ineraction with any real players and this is on a PVE server. The game so far feels empty and if it stays like this for anotehr week or two of playing, it definetly aint worth a single penny to pay to play it.

im gunna try and play it more tonight but so far its not looking good atm.i will make my full judgement of the game after a months play to see if its just the begining of the game that sucks or teh fact that i just have to get use to its gameplay but so far im not having fun playing this. lvl 6 on my druid that i made last night

That's the problem with starting a character now, most of the low level areas are deserted, most people are in Outlands now unless you can get onto a new server that doesn't allow transfers.
