Crickey !!!!
The old Hexus gang are still around !!! Long live Arathor, except you now seem to be mainly on BE
I left my old priest (Imperator) at lvl 60 on Arathor and went over to PVP [BT kindly upgraded my exchange after 1 yr of WOW so I could run on Broadband and hey presto PVP did not give lag death].
Been on PVP ever since (Shattered Halls, Ragnaros). Left for 6 months but just had 1 month back on, wished I had checked the forum, I'd have joined you guys. Instead I started a tank elsewhere.
Might see you all again in-game one day (I miss the days of Big Leon, Greenpiggy and Redpiggy and the old guild), but I'll not be a priest, they were too hard in MC and absolutely no fun for me. I suspect the billion add-ons ever since have made preists easier to play (plus they are very powerful), but still, they are not for me. There are a few classes I would try to hit the top lvl with, but would see what complimented those around me
Have fun.

Where did my Avatar go..........?
Well hello Mr Imperator!
Come join us on Blade's Edge!
Well... I got bored with Mages, 'locks, shammies and whatnot and I've now created a blood elf rogue and a warrior so that's all the major classes apart from priest done.
What I plan to do is level them all concurrently logging in and out and pass all items, materials etc and get all the skills as high as possible.
So far, it's working like a dream
what is your name in blade's edge? mines cloudmatic and ilmatic
ilamic is a new hunter i just started playing, lvl 6 already and doing quit abit of grinding hehe.
cloudmatic is lvl 13 now and is a rouge. im giving him a weeks rest so that his resting exp is high for me to lvl him up quicker

Resting...
Resting...
While in an inn or anywhere in a capital city, your player portrait will begin to glow and your level circle will say zzz, indicating that you are resting. If you log off here, you will continue to rest while offline.
One bar of rested XP (5% of a level) is earned for every 8 hours spent resting. A maximum of 30 bars (150% of a level) may be earned. In other words, you can leave your character resting in an inn or capital city for up to 10 days (without gaining experience) before you earn the maximum amount of rest state, and a resting character stores up one full level of rest in 160 hours (6.67 days).
You also become rested while logged off in the wilderness, but the accumulation is slower. When logged off "outside," rest is gained at one fourth the rate in an inn, or one bar every 32 hours.
It may also be possible to engage the resting state while in ghost form, or dead.
ahh gottcha.
I usually dont play for a couple of months at a time then when i come back i have the rested bonus which seems to last for about 3 levels although that could be because I only play a few hours a night at most
Havent played for a week now because of work.
Yep, that's exactly what I meant - 1.5 "bars" or levels, call them what you will.
Is the resting just per character then? I thought it was meant to be a mechanism to stop people playing all the time.. but if you can just switch characters it doesn't really do much!
yes per character.
Do u get the rested XP bonus on handing in quests though?
