Yeah, that's right. I created a Hexus corp a long time ago (2004) but it didn't take off.

Well, sending my graphics card off for RMA soon, so can hopefully play soon. At the mo I'm getting about 2-4 FPS and less in space so can't do much, might set up some mining rigs just to earn a little bit of cash as that won't be too hard on the graphics, unless it's a busy belt!

Although saying that, I am OK for money. Have about 40m on this account, more on my other account I think, and have some lovely ships including my Harpy! Need more Tech II skills though so I can use more Tech II items.

Can't remember any others at the mo, I'm sure I have an Interceptor somewhere, but I haven't yet activated my second account. Might do tomorrow.

Oh, by the way. I just found the best Eve Wallpaper ever, if anyone is intrested? Done by a guy called Meridius who spend 100+ hours on it. He posted it in the eve forums. I am so impressed with it though, thought you guys might be intrested.

    http://www.tekka.sys-techs.com/ftp/m.../irontide.html

Hmm, works well with dual screen.

By the way, do any of you find the tractor beams to be stupidly useful? Only just bothered with them, and I feel stupid not using them for so long.

Oh, and nice chatting to you in game Flibb.

Been playing for a few weeks myself and getting the skills up slowly but surely, its amazing how quick you can progress in a few weeks just takes months to get the skills to level 4 - 5 great game though, thoroughly enjoying it

Aye, that's what I like about the game. You don't have to grind for hours and hours to get anywhere (unless you wanna earn mega bucks), you can just have fun, do a few missions, find a few trade routes and join a helpful corp and the ISK will be rolling in.

I currently have a miner able to fly the largest Mining Barge (the Covetor) and can use Strip Miner's to get an awful lot of mins quite quickly. I'll research to get him to learn Exhumers next, larger than Mining Barges.

Then I have my BS flyer who has a Megathron with some nice big guns on it to destroy Cruiser/BS rats or mission NPC's and assist my miner. I don't even have that many skills with them to do this quite profitably either.

Plus the corp I'm in, TFTSH (Transmission From The Satalite Heart), has some very good players although we're only quite small. At the mo we concentrate on mining and production, have some great researchers and builders, many many BPO's (Blueprint Originals which we can build from or make copies and sell) and some well established trade routes, some going loads of jumps but making 100+mil ISK per journey once we get out Freighter.

We also have a plan for the new patch and we're already saving ISK and mins so we can purchase a new BS BPO (can't remember, are they the tech III one's?) so we will have enough to make a few and sell them like hotcakes to the rich elite.

The corp leaders are husband and wife in RL and they recently came back to Eve after being lost to WoW, like myself, so I am happy to get back into it with them. If any of you wanna join a small but very friendly or helpful corp, send me a message (as my online time is limited at the mo due to not being able to actually do much) and I'll have a chat with the leaders, see what they think. I was welcomed as a newbie myself, can't remember how I came into contact with them, think it was through a friend.

Can't wait to get a new graphics card and get back into the game!

A few mates and myself started a corp for the same reasons. I am building a fighter, we have a miner and someone focusing souly on blueprints and ship design so god knows what will happen, I generally fly around in the Merlin racked to the hills with missiles and railguns so far, my skill list is unbelievable atm, got everything from shield skills, navigation, combat, all ship skills to cruiser so far, a few mining ones to mine in the badger mk2 just for isk, weapon upgrades, the list is to big to remember them all, then I want the covert ops for cloaking and the battlecruiser skills and onward. takes a while but the limited skill base needed to use certain items is a godsend lets you get straight into it then you specialise. If you are on Allen look for a pilot called Kansuke or a corp called Open Format (OFORM for short)

Basically mining like mad to get money into the corp account for hangar space etc
