Liverpool council used to own all the land round here, I think its because the reservoirs here supply the water to Liverpool.... which is good, because it means we get our drinking water from the Lake District
Not really accessible without a car, Horwich Parkway train station is a few miles away, and then you'd have to take a 10 minute bus ride, but the bus only gets you within about a mile of the gardens, they're kind of in the middle of nowhere, they were originally built on a shooting estate. Very easy by car though

Was out trying to get shots for the upcoming photo comp and came across this sorry sight. Really hate seeing a truck left to rot away, and after some pics thought I'd pull mine up for some "2 brothers" shots
