One from last nights wander with the dog. View is from Great Mell Fell - looks flat in front but it dips down about 1000 feet into the valley before rising up to Blancathra.
Seriously, what do you do as a job? Cos I'm fairly sure you could make a hell of a lot more by just selling your photos. Every single one of them is stunning. Another brilliant shot!
I'm gonna have to find some of these spots you've mentioned. Bought a bike and camera rucksack today to take to the lakes..

Maybe we should do a Hexus photo meet up in the Lakes some time
Plenty of great places/walks.
And some decent pubs as well
One from yesterdays walk up Caudale Moor. St Ravens Crag towards the front with Windermere visible in the middle.

Kushti, without trying to hijack the thread, I'm looking for a nice b&b in the lakes for a few weeks time. As close to a lake as you can get, nice pub with grub, first time visitor. I'm going with my Dad who has bad knees, so large climbs can't be done, but some good walking would be fine. Appreciate your suggestions
Town or village? Not a huge fan of the likes of Windermere/Keswick any more - its almost morphed into the Blackpool of the Lakes.
I'll have a think and come back to you.
Some great places to stay and some nice river walks. Buttermere would be tops at first thought. Great walks round Buttermere and Crummock Water. Honister slate mine is a mile or 2 away.
Had a pint the other day in the Bridge Hotel there and it looked good. I'll check in with a couple of pals re the accommodation in the village and get back to you.

Who says you can't use UWAs for close-ups?
