kushtibari was that photoshopped? Looks awsome but edited and un-natural.
if its PS its still an amazing piece though.
Just a slow shutter setting I should think. Where is that Kushti?

Its not the water stream, its the light and contrast that makes me think ummm..
maybe he used a polaroid filter with a tint of colour on it?
Thanks folks, I wasn't going for the 'natural' look - trying to experiment a bit for a change
Trying to remember what I did as its about a month old - iirc this was a blend of long exposures (longest was about 100 sec with a B&W 110 filter) in photomatix. It was the light on the moss that caught my eye and made me stop - set up and waited half an hour but it didn't really come back exactly the same (its near the Grey Mares Tail in a narrow valley).
I worked on the perspective in ACDSee as the lines were warped by the wide angle lens - To try and recreate the greens there is a green filter used in CS5 - downloaded the demo for a play as I still haven't decided what software I'm going with long term.

its a long exposure probably with a grad filter strapped to the front
welding glass seems to be the new fad for those shots as it costs £2 for a bit of glass and its about 10 stop
ideal to glue to a smashed filter.
Interesting idea, wonder how that would work with a sunset?
The welding glass is pretty effective - a pals got one and says it works out at about a 12 stop.

Would they be more prone to reflections and ghosting?
