Thanks for the cat comments.
Those reversed wasp shots are rather intimidating. Great stuff
Was at Castle Combe yesterday with the Skoda bunch.
I'm so carp at slow shutter speed action shots. Can get superb pin sharp photos at high shutter speeds but of course, they all look immobile! So slowing it down to get the wheel rotational blur ain't easy!
Drifter burning rubber (should be clickable for high res)
Another great composition Kushtibari! Good amount of foreground and background detail. Is it me, or does the cloud top right look a bit like a UFO?

Thanks Gerrard
I thought the same - quite a spooky looking cloud for a while.
Indeed, 'tis a lenticular cloud
Got to love the monkey island t shirt.
I know i got at least 1 good one from the London marathon on sunday, i'll upload it later, once i work out the easiest way to resize lots of pics. Think someone linked a program in the sticky thread, i'll check there.

Cheers guys, that program is reallly good. Will be using that a lot from now. I did go over the top a bit playing with the borders though. I'll have to look a bit better into the crop function on it though, didn't look that useful from first glance, couldn't see a way to just crop from a specific side. may have just missed it though.
Had a look through my pics and think this one is my favourite. May make another thread to post the other ones i liked.
Wasn't getting much success with my 18-200mm so stuck to my 50mm f1.8 for most of the day, for quicker shutter speeds. Although the whole day was pretty much an experimenting and learning experience. Remembering i had the option of a Continuous drive focus mode was one of the bigger learning experiences.
No one's posted over the weekend yet? You must have been busy
Went out today to take some photos of a friend's set of labradors. Very cute, but rather challenging to keep up with they run so fast (and so unpredictably!)
Bumped into this beautiful gal too
