I love it, my intrest in photography was kind of dwindling but decided to give it a go and have had so many great portrait shots out of it in the past week. I just wish I had the money to upgrade my body and get a couple of new lenses.

not at all, you can post more than 1 shot per post.. but you need to just come back a little more to allow something to be in focus (50 1.8 has a minimum focal distance of 18in)

Been viewing it on my netbook which has a tiny screen and the bottom right is in focus you can see in the very bottom right it goes out of focus again when zoomed in it does look a little out of focus but I think that was camera shake. Doesnt look as good on a bigger screen, oh well.

It's perfectly in focus.. just on your foot Auto-focus will snap to the closest thing in most cases.

As bob already mentioned, up to three photos is fine, just don't go mad and post 10 or so at once! (Just start a new thread in the photo's section if you want to do that).

^^ Great picture, but imo looks a little over sharpened or too contrasty but that might just be my netbook screen!

Took this today of an excitable swan not a great photo and but it amused me.
