Yes, I have just looked on my computer (was on tablet earlier) and the picture is way too sharp, so much so I can't look at it properly.

Lol... looks fine on my LCD TV 32" but maybe that is the reason?..

    Re: Photo-a-day

It is very BIG, noisy and over sharpened! Aside from making it very blocky, the sharpening has really exaggerated the chroma noise - these birds don't have blotches of turquiose and red!

Lay off the sharpening and boost adjustments, and resize the image down to 800x or 1024x and it'll look a lot better.

    Re: Photo-a-day

Like the swans and the man in the street Josh. Nice portrait work as always Bobster.

One from a midday recce to Dunstanburgh. Planning a dawn visit so wanted to go in daylight to work it all out first. Midday is not my sort of thing so had a play with the 10 stopper - one shot stayed dry during about an hour of playing - waves kept splashing over the filters due to the low angle.

    Sharp as I like it

It's 2 images stitched together taken with the 50mm f1.8 and Kenko Extension Tubes.

    Re: Photo-a-day

It was rather dark taking the shot so had to use a higher iso than I normally would like... Liked the pose so shot it (no not with a gun )..

    Thanks David
