Sorry couldnt get the eyes in focused as a i liked. Small insects are hard to track.. Bottom photo was manually focused, clearly still something I need to work on.

Here's something I took a few weeks back, before I came home from uni for the summer. Shot with a Fujica ST605N & Fujinon 55mm f/2.2 (yes I'm one of those strange people that uses film, but it's not my main format )

Where do you go to take photos of raf helos like that puma?I wont be able to do any macro work this weekend, my lens is with sigma, they are upgrading the firmware so it will autofocus in live view.

should of guessed it was salisbury plain, I will try it one day, probably catch a train from london waterloo.

nope there were 2 - but only 1 can fit in that area (photo was taken at 13:40)

the other (green) only got a backside shot because of it's location..
