In case you are wondering about the lack of dynamic range, this was a phone pic (Lumia 1020).

Yes I was able to keep most of the foreground in exposure range, but the fact is you can't hide those clouds.
I will say it's amazing how far phones have come, and their pace of advancing. But this was done thanks to the manual controls you have with these Lumias, and the ability to shoot DNG, as I fixed the colours in post. I also pulled some of the shadows to hide the lack of DR, whilst massively downsampling those 42 mega pixels.
Whilst my K-5 would laugh at such contralight scenario (assuming I'd stolen my gf's 15mm prime) I think it's fair to say this is better than you would have had from a prosumer body a decade ago.
Cool chopper, what was he practising amongst such trees?

I used the sigma tc on the nikon 300mm lens. The camera body is the D3200 as the D7100 is still with Nikon.

I think i might of the left the tc on the camera body as I was changing back and forth from macro to telephoto. Regardless of how I mount it it, the exif will always say f4 and the exif wil state a focal length of 300mm. If u look at my photos from Riat and Heathrow I used the tc on most of the photos and they all show f4 at 300mm.
