LOL @ Daily Mail testing . If I ever get super rich, I'm going to buy the Daily Mail and turn it into a left wing paper for a laugh .

The Mail is bought by the kind of Lower Middle class people I despise, people who think that because they've got a bit of money they're better than other people. Sorry folks, you may have money, but you're still tw*ts.

I'm thinking of making some "**** the Daily Mail" T-Shirts. Any takers?

The less you are, the less you express your own life, the more you have, the greater is your alienated life, the greater is the store of your estranged being." Karl Marx

I'll have one o them I can't actually believe there is a mindset that reads or even believes the Daily Mail. Although all the letters to that rag are signed 'Angry from Tunbridge Wells'.

The Mail makes the Sun look positively cuddly.

Back to the topic m8s, when we talk about drug testing, we are not just talking about cannabis, we are talking about some of the more dangerous drugs. Most of this discussion has been about cannabis, but thats not the only drug out there. If drug testing in schools helps kids get off drugs, i cant see anything wrong with that.

Hmm, maybe that was a bit brash of me. O.K., I'll see what I can do, but bear in mind that I suffer from chronic laziness and disorganisation, so you're probably looking at a timeframe of about a month. It might be better if I do the designs and print them onto T-Shirt paper then mail 'em out so you can put them on a T-Shirt of your choice. Anyway, I'll give it some thought (and try to revive my Epson printer ).

The discussion has been about cannabis because it's the only drug that stays around in the body for more than about 24 hours. Other drugs are very hard to detect as they are broken down in the body quite quickly. So, random testing is only likely to catch cannabis users, and cannabis is the drug I would say is least likely to harm a kid's education.

If drug testing in schools helps kids get off drugs, i cant see anything wrong with that.
Neither can I....the problem is I don't think it will help get kids off drugs at all, for the reasons I've already outlined.

drugs testing won't help kids get off drugs. just because people know little Johnny has a pill on a weekend/a nice fatty on a night etc.. doesn't mean little Johnny is going to stop it is he?! IMO, it works on a shame system really, where you get 'shamed' into stopping. only problem is, i'm not ashamed of it, and neither are a hell of a lot of people i know.
i really hope some fool from the government reads this thread, might show them what needs doing.
