    here we are again no refund

    First of all you ship me a DVD player with no remote (October) then you wont give me one so i have to come on here before i finally get one that was this year now when i get the remote i find the player is faulty so i request an RMA which was granted, So i return the player and Next i get an email saying that yes it is faulty and We can confirm your returned goods have now been fully processed and replacements issued / refund authorised that was the 13th its now 2 weeks later and nothing including 3 emails that have remained unanswered.

    The refund of - £ 16.09 was processed on the 23 Mar 2010 12:23.

    We offer such " poor customer service " you quoted, ( which I removed ) we chose to absorb the loss to the value of a Kiss DP-450 ( OUR COST £ 94.20, selling for £ 17.99 ) DVD player to provide a replacement remote to you, a remote control reported missing well outside ( over 1 month ) the 48 Hours required to report all damage and missing goods. This was a goodwill gesture given to you.

    The payment still hasnt showed up in my account, please can you find out whats going on.

    Hi Polly


    I suspect this is linked to the bank holidays - have you called your bank to find out if it's waiting to be processed?

    It can take 7 working days to clear - no fault of SCAN, far from it - it's the banks being slow as usual

    That would be fine but the payment was processed 23rd march its the 13th april now its nothing to do with the bank as ive contacted them its Scan they havent paid the money out this is bad its nearly as bad as Aria.

    If you have not yet received the refund there must be a deeper issue, our accounts Manager is speaking to our Bank now about this.

    Apparently you have contacted our Payments dept about this and to explain and too apologies...

    PayPal's system only allow automated refunds via PayPal up to 59 days from the original transaction date. This refund was processed but after 59 days, hence why you have not received the refund but our system shows it as completed.

    This has been resolved now and the refund processed manually, this will appear in your account in the next 2-3 days.

    Following this situation I have forwarded the details to the Director's to look into making changes to our system to flag issues such as this to prevent this from happening again.
