    Delivery Issue

    DPD disappointed me, in their tracking they said it was out for delivery at 9.10am

    check again at 11am its now back at the depot
    so i phoned them up they said they not gona delivery it today even though its next day service
    they used some cheap excuse that it was due to bank holidays

    I had better experience with city link, where they arrived promptly in the morning on the day it was supposed to arrive

    DPD delivery failed

    I was supposed to recieve the item from DPD today, in the morning at 9:30am i check my tracking number on their website and it says

    9:10 am-"out for delivery"

    then i check again at about 11 and it says

    9:10am - "confirm at depot"

    so i phone them up wait for 10minutes on the phone explain this to them the lady tells me that they wont be able to deliver it today and then after i inquire about a pick up, i realise the depot is too far away, so i tell her id prefer redelivery
    after this i ask them is there any chance that it be delivered today, the lady tells me its 50/50 chance

    If you pay for next day service im pretty sure your supposed to get next day, not a 50/50 chance

    and their excuse was that the bank holiday interfered with their service which didnt sound too convincing considering they had Tuesday to get all Monday(bank holiday) deliveries out of the way

    so far DPD disappointed me

    We have contacted DPD to confirm and confirmed that unfortunately your parcel will not be delivered today, due to a depot error, meaning the parcel got held back by mistake. Unfortunately as a next day delivery is not guaranteed and we have been advised the parcel will be delivered to you tomorrow.

    btw do they send a text before delivery just like scan sends a text when an item is dispatched?

    I just got it, and its nearly 20 to 7 i guess DPD aint so bad afterall

    they left depot at 18.02 and i got it at 18.35, thats pretty late to send out a driver but was very nicely suprised to recieve the parcel
