DPD tracking.

I have been tracking my parcel, I paid for the item on friday. I got an txt asking me to choose my delivery date and I chose monday. I took a day off to wait for the delivery and DPD didnt show. I emailed scan and they said the DPD said it was scheduled for tueday. Now tracking the parcel online its still in hub 3 which is birmingham. How is it to get to me on tuesday if its STILL in sorting office. Im gonna have to take a day off tomorrow again to wait for it but its not looking like its gonna get here. Getting pretty annoyed now after paying the £12 delivery. So they basically confirmed it twice at the hub but have yet to forward the parcel on.
