Chasing Refund

I have cancelled my order about 5 days ago and as of yet had no refund or no information as to when I will receive it. Please could you let me know when this will be? Bit disappointed about having to raise this as an issue, the customer service up to this point has been faultless. Surely refunds should be issued as soon as the order has been cancelled (reason I had to cancel was due to item not being in stock even though your site said it was in stock). If you could look into this and let me know I would be grateful.

refunds normally take about a week to reach your bank account

I have read of some buyers having to wait a couple of months after several reminders. I would like to place another order through Scan as soon as i'm refunded so I hope i'm not waiting too long.
