Delayed order email at 19:58

Hi,

Placed an order at 11:42 for next day delivery item was listed as in stock, got a payment authorised email at 11:50.

Then at 19:58 i get an email that the order is delayed because of stock shortage and that the estimated lead date is the 01/08/2011.

Why did it take 8 hours to notify me?

Cancelled order and ordered from a company that have stock of what they sell.

It would have taken a while as they were more than likely working through orders that came in before you and it is likely the items you ordered went out of stock during allocation to other orders.

Just checked the item is available to buy on there online shop.

We show 2 pieces, but they are missing in a large warehouse, I will disable the product until this has been resolved.
