Hi,
Order Number: 00E1735720
I made this order at around 9:40pm on the 29th of September. An invoice was printed, and payment was authorised. Then at around 8:40pm on the 30th of September i received a 'Delayed Order Notification' email.
Having received this, I took it upon myself to Google what that meant. I found that it usually means that something in the order is out of stock, although at the time I placed the order all the items were marked as in stock. So then I cross checked the items I ordered again once I had received the delayed order email.
It appears that the motherboard (LN40821) is now marked as 'pre-order' and the Hard Drive 'LN31412' isn't even available on the website anymore.
Clearly these two items must be what is delaying my order.
I contacted customer service through email, stating this, and asking for an ETA on the out of stock items. All i got back was this:
Code:
Saxon Rix,
Invoice ref: 00E1735720
Further to your email,
I can confirm that your order has been flagged urgent which should ensure it is
despatched today. If there are any problems the person responsible for picking
the order in the warehouse should ensure a message is passed to me before the
end of today so that I can contact you back.
Thank you for your patience and your valued custom.
Kind regards,
Adamb
Obviously I knew there was a 99% chance that it wouldn't be despatched due to the items being out of stock, and sure enough at 5:10pm today i received another 'delayed order notification email'.
I just want to know if there is an ETA on the missing items? and is the hard drive i ordered is actually available, given that it is taken down from the site all together?
If not, can I replace the out of stock items (please confirm what these are) for some that are (hopefully) in stock, pay any difference which may be required and then receive it the next day?
Its is quite a large order (Almost £500), and a few hours before that I placed another order for around £300, but without the two orders together i have to wait to build my system. so I'm a little uncomfortable not knowing when I will get what I ordered.
Thanks, Saxon.
