They were supposed to deliver my parcel on wednesday but didn't bother then it was out for delievery on thursday still didn't show phoned them thursday night, and they didn't even bother to put it out for redelivery on friday. So now have to wait till next wednesday fro when i'll be in agian to wait for the delivery.

What a bunch of useless people, probably sat in the pub instead of doing what there paid to do.

I'm seriously thinking of not bothering to order from scan again because of city link.

Why don't they use other couriers? City link are the worst out there.

Why call them? I never call the courier themselves..they dont often care. Call the supplier in the first case as they are more likely to want to keep scan happy than average Joe.

He does have a point though, Citylink do have a poor reputation as a carrier service for home deliveries, they're best at business deliveries and I'd imagine a good chunk of Scan's money comes from OEM builders.

That said, does Scan have the parcel output to justify two carriers? Parcelforce tend to have a good home delivery service as does UPS, even if the price goes up a bit people could choose between which one offers the best delivery in their area.

They're not going to change couriers, IIRC they've integrated their ordering system with citylink so when you place an order it sorts out the order with citylink straight away. Possibly.

I think we've covered this in at least 200+ threads before folks. Some areas have excellent citylink depots and drivers whereas some other areas seem to be reporting all the issues ( Cardiff for one ... )

As such I'm going to lock this thread before it get's out of hand and turns into another Citylink in my area are.... bashing thread
