    RMA question

    Hi,

I sent 2 items to you yesterday (Intel Q6600 CPU and Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3l mobo). It says that they've been tested (by Lee) and that only the mobo was found faulty. Will I have to pay a testing fee of some kind for the CPU? Also, it now says that it is "5. Awaiting replacement / credit" and on the website it says that the mobo is in stock, will this mean that it will be dispatched later today and will arrive tomorrow? If so, will I be able to order some items from your website now and they be delivered with the replacement mobo and my original cpu for arrival tomorrow?

    Many thanks,
    Ed

    Re: RMA question

Any scan person know? Do you finish at 5.30, I presume that I have to get this sorted before then if I'm going to order something else from your website in time for next day delivery....

    Re: RMA question

Unfortunately it wasn't dispatched last night. So is there anybody at scan who can shed light on whether it will be dispatched to today to arrive tomorrow? Sorry for sounding so impatient but this is quite important because I'm stuck without an adequate computer, I want to order something else to go with the replacement item and I know for sure that somebody will be available to collect the parcel tomorrow. Also I don't want to have to wait over the weekend

    Re: RMA question

Can we have any reference you have such as the RMA number for example so I can then ask the returns/testing team for an update accordingly.

    Re: RMA question

I've just spoke to the RMA team and they have found the board as faulty. As such the replacement is being processed, and you would not incurr any charges for testing of the CPU as the culprit was the motherboard.

    Best Regards,

    Best Regards,
Thanks Lee. By saying a "replacement is being processed", what do you mean? Will it be sorted out today and despatched later today? Could you make this happen? If so, I'd like to order a couple more things from your website which could be despatched later today with the replacement mobo and the original CPU?

    Re: RMA question

What that means is that the RMA has been checked and a replacement means exactly that, that a new motherboard of the same brand and model is being processed to go back to you along with the chip. If you need further clarification, please contact our returns team accordingly.

In regards to ordering stuff and having sent with the RMA, I'm afraid this is not possible.

I have sent a "Returns Enquiries" email via your support page to ask whether it would it be possible to process it today and despatch later in the day so it will arrive tomorrow; as I don't think you can answer this.

Thankyou, I was just thinking about saving you a bit of packaging but I'll probably order this seperately later today then.

    Many thanks,
