1. The list of product catagories at the top of the page. It is just way too big for people like myself using old 15" monitors.

Being worked on

a. Looks like space has been allocated for 5 columns, but only 4 used. Suggest using all 5 columns.

It makes as many columns as your screen will fit... it won't fit 5 columns if it shows 4

b. Would ideally love +/- icons so we can resize the font used (store the info in cookies) to shrink it.

c. Perhaps under ALL on the left hand side, we could have Components, Peripherals, X, Y, etc. which would reduce the number of catagotries on view.

It already has a function ... which is coming soon

2. The subcatagories below this.
a. Again, way too big. On hard drive pages, with tabs open in Firefox, I only see as far down as the top half of the View Selected and View All buttons. I get NO product info until I hit my page down key. On Intel motherboards, I don't even get the buttons.

b. On the subject of hard drives, PLEASE can you divide up the 400GB - 1TB catagory.

Regarding 1a: I just did a quick measure with my thumb. There seems to be the space for another column. There must be pixels in it, anyway.

My initial thought was yuck, this looks horrible.

Positives:
I like the fact that you can now search across more than one subset of a category at the same time.

Negatives
No ability to only show items in stock.
No way to list items purely by price order if they belong to multiple sub-categories. So the list is broken down into sub-categories and sorted by price within those sub-categories.

New Scan site: Jesus, it's horrible, it's... it's...

Wow, that's really nice. Looks a lot better. Selecting the actual thing you're after is a LOT easier (I could never get on with your old menu selection thing. Possibly something to do with my work computer, but there you go). Looking forward to the "Match this item with this item" thing being populated. And overall, it looks far slicker. Yes, happy with that.

I have a new constructive criticism to add to the list...

I followed a link from the forum to a product just now, and the first thing that jumped at me was that the new site is too colourful and looks more like a sweet shop! - was it designed by a girl?
