Well, the forum's here for Scan to offer an extra avenue in their customer support. There's several aspects to that. One will be some public face-to-face contact. Another will be that often, customers will solve problems for other customers, because they've had and resolved the same problem. It's certainly not just for them to give press releases about how they've solved every customer issue.
When the discussion about directives etc, that you seem to object to, started, this thread had had no activity for five days, and had dropped to page three. It seems likely, therefore, that if either Scan or the customer were going to post, they would have, or that if something changed in the situation leading them to want to add to the thread, they would have. But they didn't. I think you can draw a conclusion from that - they have nothing they want to say.
However, questions were asked about the legal situation. And, as I said, I was asked to comment. So, in doing so, not only did I respond to a direct request from a member, but the thread has remained on page 1 for several more days, amplifying the odds that it would jog the memory either of the OP, or if they have something to add, of Scan.
