The screws dont "Generally" come with the mainboard, the list of *Bits recieved with the mainboard should be in the manual for the board

I had somewhat the same problem as you. It wouldnt read my ram yet ram is tested and working.
After every reboot i would need to clear cmos to get past 2A errors. I gave up on it also sent it back and i now have an Asus P5W DH Deluxe on the way tommorow.

Im sorry to hear about your AB9 problems but there are many of us out here

good to hear that you have got it sorted fella.

Phillip should have received my components today so hopefully I will have some news early next week.

Depending on the outcome I will probably be looking at the P5B also, although I would prefer the issue to be sorted as I chose this board because of the hexus reviews and being an Abit board convinced me more. I used to have an IS7 board for my old P4 and it was great, never had an issue with it in 3 years and it is still going strong (although not with me unfortunately, as i sold it when I first received the new setup).

Just a waiting game for me now.

Well good luck... and thanks for starting this thread, without it i would have probably spent longer trying to get that board working and would have probably gone mad in doing so

Post back when you get some result...

BTW mine was diagnosed as the dreadded 2A error!!

    Thanks,

    Andy

My first AB9 Pro was replaced due to 2A errors but the replacement is just as bad.

If Phillip cannot sort out mine then I will definately go for a replacement.

Right my AB9 Pro is diagnosed as faulty but I was recommended not to get the same as a replacement.

I have gone for the Asus P5B-E Plus

Anyone know anything about this board?

Ah you have gone for the black board, I've read good things about them. Good choice imo.

    Good

Lets hope that tradition continues. I have almost lost hope that this will ever be resolved.
